Detailed Description
The metal tube rotameter is a variable area flowmeter that operates based on the position of a float. Designed with an all-metal structure and a modular concept, it features a compact size, low pressure loss, a wide rangeability (10:1), and ease of installation and maintenance. As a result, it is widely used for flow measurement and process control in complex and harsh environments across various industries, particularly for small flow rates, low velocities, and demanding medium conditions.
The product series of metal tube rotameters offers multiple measurement types to meet different user requirements and application scenarios. In terms of output forms, they are available as local indication type, remote transmission type, and control/alarm type. According to explosion-proof requirements, they are classified into standard type, intrinsically safe type, and isolated explosion-proof type.
The metal tube rotameter adopts Honeywell’s internationally advanced non‑contact magnetic sensor for detecting changes in magnetic field angle, combined with a Motorola microprocessor system. It provides functions such as LCD indication, totalization, remote transmission output (4–20 mA), pulse output, and upper/lower limit alarm output. This intelligent signal transmitter offers extremely high accuracy and reliability, and can fully replace imported instruments of the same type. It also features high cost‑performance ratio, multi‑parameter calibration, power‑off protection, and other advantages.
The design and manufacture of the metal tube rotameter also take into account the user’s process flow direction requirements. Various installation options are available, including vertical mounting, top‑in‑bottom‑out, side‑in‑side‑out, bottom‑in‑side‑out, threaded connection, and horizontal mounting.
